An email deliverability consultant tests why your messages miss the inbox and fixes the cause. We check SPF, DKIM, DMARC and BIMI, blacklists, domain and IP reputation, list hygiene and the Google, Yahoo and Microsoft sender rules, run an inbox placement test, and fix what fails.
An email deliverability audit checks every layer between your send button and the recipient's inbox. We run the same twelve checks on every domain, so nothing depends on guesswork.
| Check | What we test | What failure looks like |
|---|---|---|
| SPF | One record, every sender included, under 10 DNS lookups | Two SPF records, or a missing sending service |
| DKIM | 2048-bit key, signing with your own domain | Mail signed only by the ESP's domain |
| DMARC | Policy, alignment, report address | No record, or p=none left for years with nobody reading reports |
| Alignment | From domain matches the SPF or DKIM domain | DMARC fails even though SPF and DKIM pass |
| BIMI | Logo record and certificate, if you want the logo shown | Record present but no enforced DMARC |
| Blacklists | Domain and IP against the major lists | Listing on Spamhaus or similar |
| Domain reputation | Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft SNDS data | Reputation marked Low or Bad |
| Spam rate | User-reported complaints | Above 0.1% at Gmail |
| Unsubscribe | One-click List-Unsubscribe header and visible link | Header missing on marketing mail |
| DNS hygiene | Forward and reverse DNS, TLS | No PTR record on a dedicated IP |
| List quality | Bounce rate, role and catch-all addresses, list age | Hard bounces above 2% |
| Placement | Seed test across Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo | Promotions or spam on any provider |
SPF and DKIM passing is not the same as being trusted. The most common reasons we find on domains that look correctly set up are:
As of October 26, 2026, all three large mailbox providers require bulk senders to authenticate and to make unsubscribing easy. A bulk sender is anyone sending about 5,000 or more messages a day to that provider's users.
| Requirement | Google (Gmail) | Yahoo | Microsoft (Outlook.com) |
|---|---|---|---|
| SPF and DKIM | Both | Both | Both |
| DMARC | At least p=none, aligned | At least p=none, must pass | At least p=none, aligned |
| One-click unsubscribe | Required on marketing mail | Required, processed within 2 days | Recommended |
| Spam rate | Under 0.1%, never 0.3% | Under 0.3% | Not published |

Four things: your sending domains, the name of your email platform, DNS access or the contact of the person who manages DNS, and one recent campaign report so we can see bounce and complaint numbers.
growrevenue.co publishes one SPF record, a 2048-bit DKIM key and a DMARC policy at p=reject with daily aggregate reports. You can check it yourself with any public DNS lookup tool before you hire us.
